What is a Mocktail?
Simply put, a mocktail is a cocktail that doesn’t include alcohol. While many enjoy the fun of a traditional cocktail, there are many reasons why some may choose to ditch it. Mocktails are a great way to enjoy a beverage in a social setting or at home, without the negative side effects of alcohol.
Why a CBD Mocktail?
Imagine a delicious beverage that, besides being healthy and refreshing, provides loads of therapeutic benefits. Well, you’ve found it! According to Drinklabs, there are 3 main benefits from drinking CBD beverages :
1. Can Reduce Overall Inflammation
According to Drinklabs, “CBD cannot cure cancer… but it can help complement cancer treatment plans by reduc[ing] cancerous inflammation and cop[ing] with pain.”
Dr. Sean McAllister has been researching the effects of CBD and how Cannabinoids (including CBD) may help slow down cancer growth, inhibit formation of new tumor-feeding blood cells, and help to manage pain, fatigue, nausea and other side effects.
*Disclaimer: CBD cannot cure cancer. If you suffer from cancer, please consult with your doctor and/or health care practitioner before taking CBD.
2. May Help with Joint Pain
A reduction in inflammation directly translates to overall improvements in health, which includes the effects associated with everyday aches and pains, including (but not limited to): arthritis, gout, strains, and muscle fatigue. Drinklabs states that “CBD drinks offer individuals a chance to use natural remedies, rather than prescription medications for inflammation.” .
3. May Help With Digestive Problems
Similarly, much of the digestive distress that so many individuals experience is related to inflammation in the gut (i.e, Irritable Bowel Syndrome). As stated above, CBD may deliver healing properties to support the gut and decrease the sometimes debilitating symptoms that many suffer from.

1 12oz Can Lime Spritzig CBD Sparkling Wellness Water (10mg CBD)
1 Dropper (1mL) or as desired of Berry Blast Everyday Wellness Drops (10mg CBD/mL)
1c Frozen Blueberries
1/4c Frozen Strawberries
2 Tbsp Agave (or sweetener of your choice)
1 Tbsp Water
Juice of 1/2 Lime

Once mixture is cooled to room temperature, place 3 heaping tablespoons of blueberry mixture into each cup. Pour 1/2 (6oz) of Lime Spritzig CBD Sparkling Wellness Water into each glass.
In each glass, squeeze in the juice of 1/2 lime and add 1/2 dropper (0.5ml) of Berry Blast Everyday Wellness Drops . Gently stir to incorporate all ingredients.
- Top off with a handful of ice cubes and garnish of choice. Enjoy!
